Consumer Protection Act (Bill 29)
At Ameublement Branchaud, our commitment to our customers doesn't end at delivery. Since October 5, 2026, a free warranty of good working order automatically applies to the purchase of certain new goods, including major appliances. This gives you added protection at no extra cost.
The warranty at a glance
- Applies to purchases made on or after October 5, 2026.
- Free and automatically included with the purchase of an eligible new product.
- Lasts for a fixed period starting on the delivery date of the product.
- Covers parts, labour and reasonable transportation or shipping costs for repairs.
- Does not cover routine maintenance (e.g., replacing filters) or damage caused by misuse or accidents.
- Is in addition to the legal warranty provided by law and to any manufacturer's warranty.
- Applies to Québec consumers.

Replacement parts and repair services (section 39 CPA)
Please note that Ameublement Branchaud inc. ("Branchaud") does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts, repair services, or the information necessary for the maintenance or repair of the goods sold, in accordance with section 39 of the Consumer Protection Act (CQLR, c. P-40.1) and sections 79.18 to 79.20 of the Regulation respecting the application of the Consumer Protection Act. This notice does not limit the warranty of good working order described above.
